Gastrointestinal (GI) clinical trials such as Fatty Liver Disease, Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH), Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation (IBS-C), and Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea (IBS-D) have been conducted by Chase Medical Research (CMR). 

Some of these clinical trials resulted in FDA approved medications such as Linzess for IBS and Trulance for IBS-C.
